Task #1

The book that I read encompassed the experiences of a young girl written in a diary on daily accounts. The author of the diary was Anne Frank and the book was later edited by her father, Otto Frank as well as by Mirjam Pressler. Relative to the cover page that entails a photo of Anne Frank below the title of the book depicts a vast message concerning the book. One of the messages derived from the cover page is the contrast of Anne’s life in her own words in the diary fostered by the use of different background colors. The character of Anne is basically a strong one with a different worldview concerning life.

In the early 1940s, Anne lived a terrifying life with news of her friends’ execution especially the saboteurs as well as their families. The Germans were brutal in handling the war and sought to ensure that the Jewish were totally denied their uniform value in all aspects of the culture, religion as well as the social construct.
