Selected Departments

Physical fitness department in any athletic facility has a primary focus on individual physical fitness and enhancing maximum fitness and recreational activities. The reason for selecting the department is due to the dedicated actions of this section to provide safe, comprehensive and competitive intramural sports activities. The department also enhances a variety of fitness programs with a safeguarded work out environment. The highlighted events of the facility ensure that the talents, skills, and ambitions of clients are natured (Andrews et al., 2012).

Physical injury rehabilitation department primarily focuses on how to help athletes, sports psychologists, and coaches on how to manage various injuries and risks. The main reason for identifying this department is because the very little empirical survey has been done on areas relating injury topics together with psychology technicians in enabling the rehabilitation, recovering process, and prevention of athletic injuries (Werd & Knight 2010). Analysing the concerned department will help in consolidating and provide a clear report from the available data and information on injuries nature, thus bringing all appropriate suggestions referring to major principals of sport psychology.  Studying this department will define the four major issues which entails  how various injuries occur, how the victims tend to respond to occurred injuries, how the topic of  physical rehabilitation and recovery can be expertly facilitated and finally determining the appropriate time the injured sportsmen and women  are ready psychologically to  resume on desired  competitions( Konin, 2018).

The nutrition department in the athletic facility is a significant sector to be considered. Nutrition knowledge can profoundly influence the general performance of an athlete. The department stands as a great section to be analysed and determine the intensity of nutrition connecting individual sports activities. There is a unique need for nutritional education to be offered to athletes and equip them with useful knowledge on what to eat in various events or training which may influence their performance. Another primary reason that makes this department to be of great interest for analysis is that through nutrition, one gets required energy for competitions and training sessions. Predicting the performance of an athlete can be determined through the type of diet an individual uses (Thomas et al., 2016). Therefore the department of nutrition being the guide for an appropriate source of energy to athletes makes it of substantial interest for any scholar to study and analyse the intensity of nutrition knowledge to the athletes in any related institution.
